Harpoon Larry's Oyster Bar

Great seafood, a very fresh raw bar, and fresh catch-of-the-day are featured at this restaurant which also offers land-based fare such as burgers, chicken, pizzas, salads, soups, and sandwiches. A wide selection of fine imported beers are on tap to complement your meal.
Harpoon Larry's is a great place to go for fresh seafood not processed. The staff are very fun and friendly. When we go there they always make us feel like we own the place. We love the crab cakes and all the steamed foods are always cooked to perfection. We definatly like the flexibilty in ordering combos. You order what you want and how you want it. Broiled flounder, fried scallops, blackened crab cake. AWSOME!!!! It is the best little seafood dive around. WOW!!! Just talking about it makes me hungry!!!
We used to go to Harpoon Larry's all the time. The food is great and the prices couldnât be beat. However, the last time we were there - several years ago - we watched a mouse scurry across the floor, going from table to table. Obviously we were pretty disturbed about it and so called the rodent to the attention of the waitress. Her response was what caused us to remove Harpoon Larry's from our list. She acted very nonchalant and noted that the restaurant had been some other type of business (I don't recall what) in the past and that caused them to have mice. If she had been as concerned as we were about the mouse, we might have written it off as fluke. But the fact that it seemed a natural occurrence to the wait staff made us wonder where else they see rodents... in the kitchen, etc. They have great food, but, I can't see my having to worry about cleanliness simply because the employees arenât.
