User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsWe were on vacation at VA Beach and took a day to go into Portsmouth and Norfolk and it got to be lunchtime, so we saw this restaurant and decided the prices looked good and they had a good-looking menu. (the food DID end up being excellent... the warm crab dip is to DIE for!) The hostess was rather homely and frumpy and not at all overly-friendly, which was not a good impression...but then our waitress came out and we both noticed that she was very cold and short and had no personality. After we'd been there about 1/2 an hour we were wondering why a bowl of seafood pasta and a hamburger would take so darn long... about that time the 2 ladies next to us having lunch with their kids, called the waitress over and were complaining that they'd been there 30 minutes and had just got their appetizer and that 'this is the worst service we've ever had anywhere!' After that, the food showed up really quick and the waitress got an amazing attitude adjustment and things were fine. So, I was underwhelmed by the employees, but the food ROCKED!

I was surprised at how rude these restaurant people are to you on both the phone and when you are at the restaurant. I think the food was ok, but the personality and ugliness of the people that run it will keep me from returning.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsWent here last night with a party of 5. Waitress was nice, although she was a little overextended. The crab dip was exceptional. The scallops were in a lovely sauce, but overcooked. The salad is just okay. Lots of iceberg...something you would see in a cafeteria, not a nice restaurant. The entrées were pretty terrible. I got fettuccine with scallops, shrimp and lobster in a cream sauce. The noodles were wet with not much sauce, and it seemed like they just poured the crab dip over the noodles. I was definitely disappointed. Won't be coming back here. I am sure it is a good deal when you get the $7.99 early bird special. Other than that, I do not recommend.
