For a gourmet treat, my husband and I ordered the brushetta as an appetiezer. While the diced tomato treat was delicious, the bread used was lacking. This could have been stellar with better bread.
For dinner, we had pasta pescatore and it sent us soaring~Pasta cooked perfectly, a lovely, fresh, light red sauce that was tangy and complimented the seafood. Giuseppe's was not stingy with the shrimp either! We each had 6 nice sized ones. The calamari was not rubbery (as it can be sometimes) and the little baby clams were delectable. The price was nice as well.
While we do not care for Giuseppe's pizza or subs, their Italian dinners are all really good.
Great family atmosphere-back room has better ambience. Restroom area decorated very nicely and kept clean.
For great pizza-see Vicenzo's on the Blvd. in Colonial Heights.
I agree with Phil, the service is great as is the food!
