User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy wife and I lived in Colonial Heights from 1976 to 1982. We started going to Carini,s when it first opened. We enjoyed it then and since we have moved away to Pennsylvania we try to return once a year to visit the area and to enjoy the food. It does not matter what we order it is always great and the service is always good also.

i cant deny the food is great; however, after dining there several times i have become very disappointed with the service. a few months back my boyfriend and i, who are both in the military and rarely see each other, decided to go and have a nice dinner together. when we arrived we stood at the door for about 15 minutes without a greeting as waitress after waitress walked by. multiple others had to endure the same, then last night we went again and instead of a quite dinner we had to listen to several servers complaining abut fellow patrons and thier personal lives while sitting at a adjacent table rolling silverware, then as if that were not bad enough one very rude waitress began playing with her hair while handling the silverware and when i mentioned this to my already frustrated boyfriend she decided to confront me by saying "YES! you got a problem." outraged i told her not to worry about it i woud point it out to her manager later. after paying for the meal we spoke with the manager who seemed to know the exact waitress we were talking about. he was very polite but either way, we will not be revisiting.
