User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe started going to King's when I was stationed in Ft Lee back in 1980. Still stop there for minced pork BBQ everytime we go thru Petersburg, and it's still the best I've found.

A real gem! Really good food, great service, and good price. One of the last great southern eateries.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest BBQ in Virginia: If you like vinegar BBQ sauce this is your place. This place has the best BBQ I have ever tasted and you can buy the sauce on line now. You can have the sauce on any meat and it tastes great on french fries too. Do yourself a favor and try this BBQ; it will brigthen your whole day. And don't forget the apple pie, take a whole one home with you.
