Find yourself a nice church cemetery before investing your money here. It's bad enough going through the loss of a loved one without having the funeral home and then the cemetery prey on your guilt and loss for their profit. Cemetery plot purchased 30 years ago at Sunset, only to learn all the hidden costs that await when you're actually ready to bury someone. Casket sized plots only one casket per space, no top and bottom allowed. I wanted to be buried with my husband, but was told that while there was enough room for two urns, the plot had to be purchased again for another person to be buried there. They charge $1,000 to bury the urn and pester you with follow up calls under the pretense of caring offering grieving materials and memorial picture frames, when their sole objective is to get the grave marker sale underway. You can buy a gravemarker anywhere, you don't need too use them. But there are so many rules and regulations about size and material, vaults, no real flowers, etc., etc., ,etc. You don't own the plot they do...and they will not let you forget it.
