    Agreed! This guy is a cut above. VERY knowledgable about the medicines, history of some medicines, etc. I like the way he took the time to explain to me the reason he was doing what he did. I despise the doctors who just prescribe you something and get mad when you ask them why or question their judgment.

    Dr. Polanshek is one of the best pediatricians I've met in the Richmond area. I have had quite a time searching for an office that would talk to my (then) 2yr old and attempt to make her comfortable during the visit. I was referred to Dr. Polanshek by a co-worker and am glad I scheduled an appointment. He is very personable and detailed in explaining the exams/vaccinations.

    No, the office isn't the greatest - could use some remodeling. Most important to me is that it be clean and that my daughter and I are welcomed by pleasant staff and seen by a caring physician. Other facilities may boast marble floors and nice wall paintings, but have the most rude and uncaring staff.

    Two thumbs up for Dr. Polanshek!

    Dr. Polanshek took the time to take care of my daughter and give shots based on her age and requirements. I thought he was very helpful and kind and would recommend him. The office was in Chesterfield was in very poor shape with dim lighting in the exam room, dirty walls and only plastic patio chairs for the parents to sit on in the exam room. So even though I enjoyed the doctor the facility would make me consider another doctors office. My other issue was the shot record would not be completed until the next day. It was not very convenient for me to return just to pick this form up but I did and they said they could mail it to my daycare if I provided a stamped envelope. How is it you can charge $387.00 for my daughters visit and not be able to afford a stamped envelope???
