I have never had food this good before. At first i was a little scared to try it but my husband talked me into it. Now when we go out to eat thats the only place i want to go. The food and show is excellent!
Kabuki is your pseudo-Japanese "food-with-a-show" evening that has turned into a birthday favorite with our family and many of our Roanoke friends as well. From the flaming onion "volcano" to chefs flipping shrimps into your mouth and bowls onto their head, it is an evening of fun for the whole family. Not to mention the generous portions of food cooked in front of you.
To be honest, the food is strictly "OK" - not great, but definitely not bad either. I like the filet and scallops combo at about $21 - they always get the filet done just right. And a glass of house wine (Corbet Canyon) is just $3.95. But one doesn't visit Kabuki just for the food - one visits Kabuki for the experience. And the laughter and smiles of my children are what earn Kabuki my four-star rating. Note that reservations are a "must" on weekend evenings; be sure to call a day or two ahead for the best seating times.
Excellent dinner!: Not only did they have sushi, but it was fantastic!
I really enjoyed this night out. The staff was friendly and treated me very well.
