Smack in the middle of downtown Roanoke, Mill Mountain has the best lattes I've ever tasted. The ambience is great, the variety is impressive, and while the gentlemen who rang up our selections seemed devoid of warmth, our barista was very talented and friendly. We'll go back.
CANT WAIT TO MOVE TO ROANOKE & REGULARLY PATRONIZE: In the year(s) 2004/2005 I vacationed in Roanoke and spent over 4 1/2 weeks there. This coffee house is absolutely a great place to relax, have a great cup of one of many gourmet coffees offered, a pastry, & to meet, mingle, relax, or, just read the local papers that they supply to patrons. On I believe, Wednesday nites, a group of a dozen or so locals come in & play Blue-Grass for several hours & the place just "rocks"!. All ages are comfortable here. Even though the place is small some younger folks even find some room to dance what the kids call "clog-dancing". The coffee is extraordinarily reasonable and I believe it is $1 for the first cup, 50 cents for the second and the remaining fill-ups are free. Hope they were able to hold their prices. What a great place to see and experience!! I will be relocating to roanoke and this will be one of my favorite places in the town.
