Awesome Food and Service!: Live about 2 hours away from Roanoke but everytime we are in town we eat at Logans. Great food and atmosphere for my family and friends. Steaks are awesome!
Logans Roadhouse: Excellent place if your passing thru peanut shells on the floor, whiskey in a mason jar, steak's an inch thick doesnt get any better.Takes you back to the coyote ugly day's!!!!
At the end of a long day...............: This is NOT the place to unwind. Especially if you want a good meal. Imagine being on a plane for 5 hours for what was supposed to be a 1.5 hour flight.
Now after being diverted twice, you're finally on terra firma and all you want is a thick, juicy steak.
OK, you walk through the door. Stepping over peanut shell carcasses (have to believe most corporate liability insurance adjustors shutter at the thought) and make your way to a noisey booth.
Now usually I looooooooooove that atmosphere---the kind where you just don't give a .....................
I do-however-care about the fact that I'm in a steakhouse that has no prime rib. How does a steakhouse run out of prime rib? Fine-OK-so, I get the New York strip--medium (even saw it on the ticket).
When it finally (ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz, oops had time for nap in waiting on it, and no they weren't THAT busy) arrives, it's not medium... it's a still-partially-mooing-medium-rare.
And on top of that......it's basically cold.
The so-called onion rings or whatever they're called, turned out to be nothing more than a lump of greasy batter-dipped mass, burnt to a crisp.
(I think there were a few onions in there or maybe it was just onion-flavored batter)
Right--so no place is perfect and I wasn't expecting the Four Seasons. But something edible would have been nice.
I can't believe a national chain would settle for such substandard delivery.
If this doesn't bother you or you just plain ol' have no standards, go with the reviews below.
But if you can't stand not getting your money's worth--like me--go to Outback, or do what my father and I did the following night....
Go to Krogers, get a couple of thick, juicey Delmonicoes...put some Lawry's on them.
Kick back and enjoy!!!!
