A nice place with a pretty view: Except that it was nighttime and we couldn't really see the view! We started off with some tasty appetizers; the fried mushrooms were excellent but the roasted red peppers could have had more peppers and less cheese. Good salad. Again, as is common in this area, there is not too much on the menu for vegetarians aside for several pasta dishes. However, they all sounded more interesting than your run of the mill alfredo or marinara plates. The Pasta Palmito was tasty; my only complaint would have been the off season tomatoes, but after all, it WAS December. It is rumoured that the cook will whip up something or modify a meat dish to suit special diets, and if the timing is right, he will even cook up fish that you may have caught that day! All in all it was lovely and my companions seemed very pleased with their meat and/or seafood dishes. This is definitely a place I would bring out of town guests of friends. Just watch your step while trying to find the entrance.
