My family heads to Marion, Virginia every year for a reunion and this is a mandatory stop. We usually play minisature golf one day, hit the batting cages another day and then head to the drive in one night. We are from Pennsylvania where all the drive ins have pretty much closed so to be able to enjoy this experience every year that we head down south is a big treat for all the kids and adults alike! A must see if you are in the area.
Concession stand and restrooms have always been clean when we were there. Batting cages run well and are a blast. Miniature golf is lots of fun. Arcade inside has fun games, though not a huge variety.
Great place to spend an evening. You can play putt-putt golf, eat ice cream, or use the batting cages before the movie starts. I've always had a good experience here. I really like the conveinece of the radio broadcast instead of the old window boxes. I highly reccommend this drive-in for a night out. Just be sure to check the movie ratings before you go, most marquees around the county don't show them.
A Great Drive-In Theater: I like the drive-in because you only have to pay $10 to see both movies (There are always two that show.) You can tune into their radio station and listen to the movies there. You can even hear it from several miles away on the radio. The drive in is complete with restrooms, and a consession stand. There is plenty of room to even get a blanket and watch it picnic style and get your portable radio. I have this drive-in 5 stars.
