Bob Evans Restaurants

Food quality was good. However, the manager on duty was arguing with a customer about smoking. The manager was smoking and it was drifting into the non-smoking section. She told him it was a free country! WOW! They left of course. So did we.

Always a pleasure: My daughter and I choose Bob Evans for our girls day out spot because we can walk right in; have someone seat us immediately and with a smile; and because we can count on great food with good service. Bob Evans serves a good variety of what we think of as comfort foods even if we're going toward the lite fare. The best part is the service. I wish every reataurant in town would send their wait staff for training at Bob Evans - Managers too. My grandfather who ran a family restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio would give them two thumbs up. These friendly servers earn every penny they get - no less than 15% from me. Keep up the good work.

It's OK................the desserts are good!!: If I had to just rate the Coconut Creme Pie they would get a standing ovation. I love that pie. All of their desserts look good. The food overall isn't too bad. Service was average most of the time with having to wait too long a couple of times. The ambiance is pretty neat. A country theme. However they have all those nick nacks when you go in that your kid has a fit over when you enter and exit. And they are priced ridiculously.
