User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsRestaurant appears to be a quaint and friendly place, if you are a local or appear to "fit in" with local culture. However, my family was unable to enjoy the wonderful service and hospitality mentioned in the other reviews. We were ignored at the door and decided to leave after not being acknowledged at our table after 10 minutes. The town was beautiful; however, our experience at High's was disheartening.

A little piece of Heaven: If you want real home cooking, you all need to come to High's. It's a great place to go back in time. Going to High's and visiting Monterey is a little piece of Heaven!!
