Where Do All These People Come From?: It's amazing how many people go to Cattle Annie's on a weekend night. It might take a while to find a parking spot depending on how late you go, but unless you come when a popular band is playing you can always get in. Cattle Annie's has live bands on a regular basis, and if you check their website you can even reserve some tickets for some pretty well known bands. Watch the admission fee on all nights though. Most of the time you will pay at least $5 per person just to walk in the door, right before the (optional) coat check. I have not eaten dinner there, but I hear you can get free admission by coming early and having 2 dinner entrees. The main room is huge and has bar style tables on the sides of one of the largest dance floors I've seen. They have walk up bar areas around the perimeter of the room where you can get liquor, wine and beer. Sometimes they have beer stations set up too which usually have a lot shorter lines for a bottled beer out of a tub. The last time I went I was surprised to see the mechanical bull gone, but I hear it was becoming more of a liability than an entertainment piece. There are 2 sets of bathrooms on each side of the room with plenty of stalls (at least for the womens bathroom). CA plays all types of music instead of just country like a lot of people think. It may have a country theme, but it has a lot more to offer than just a bunch of rednecks drinking. They have about a half a dozen pool tables too, but come early because they're usually full. The service can be good at times and terrible the next. It seems to be hard on the servers as much as the patron because of the room size and amount of people. The lines for the bar are long and the drinks aren't cheap. Great place for large groups to go to have a good time, but I would stick to another place if you want t a more quiet and less crowded environment to have some drinks.
