Ham's has a very fair priced menu, and was the place we all went when here for business. Decent beer selection, and even offers a local brew (Black Radish!) with a rotating tap. Very good for South VA. Problem is, the wait staff doesn't have a clue about the local beer that is on tap, so suspect that mgt is not doing a good job of keeping them up to date.

Also noticed that the food orders have been coming back wrong (as you see with an older post here). Also, the food just doesn't seem as fresh as in the past. They do have a newly minted menu, but I'm still searching for that item that is a must-have. I think others are noticing, as it just hasn't been that crazy crowd that it used to be....and we were there on a Monday night.

Dependable, good place for having a beer with a hamburger. Maybe some pub food as well, but it's getting dull. Hope they address these items.

Its ok sometimes. But the the chips are way to greasy! And why can't they have free Refills????
I am not every impressed with ham's @ all!

Worst resturant in town. Don't listen to customers orders and the kitchen can't read tickets. The food never comes out the way we order it and the put items we said not to bring out on the plate. We used to eat there a couple times a week as we like the trivia but now they only have trivia on 1 TV in the non smoking section and the trivia is the only reason we still go once a month.
