Come Hungry leave Hungry!
Thats our motto hear @ the Danville Ihop!
the last time I went 2 Ihop we ordered our food ,as usual, and we got our drinks and we never got our food. It took me and my mom more than 3 hours before we decided 2 leave.
Finally! Something other than a salad!: It's so nice as a lacto-ovo vegetarian to be able to go out to eat and not have to suffer through yet another salad bar. Not only am I a vegetarian, but I also focus on whole grains (meaning most Italian places are out) and low fat foods, so it's nice to be able to get something other than a salad bar when going out to eat. My favorite is the Garden Omlette (no cheese) made with egg substitute. It's a three "egg" omlette filled to the brim with mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and tomatoes, and is not only delicious but is also very filling.
If I'm not in the mood for an omlette, they're always willing to adjust their menu to suit your eating style (I often get an egg sandwich that originally included ham), and on the rare occasion that I'd actually prefer a salad, their chicken salad (minus the chicken of course) is a very tasty option with tomatoes, olives, onions, egg, cheese, etc.
Service has always been good for us, even when they're busy, and they've never balked at changing menu items to suit our more limited dietary requirements, which is a nice change to the experience we're accustomed to at some other local establishments.
The price seems a little inflated at times, especially in that they are fond of charging "a little bit more" (which translates to an average of $0.79 - $0.99 extra per item) for substituting menu items such as harvest grain pancakes, or getting egg substitute rather than their regular egg-and-pancake-batter mixture for omlettes, but overall it's not a bad value for the amount of food that you get.
