User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsSo bad. The last time I went there was to take my mother out Mother's day about six years ago...before the area got Bistro 1888, Molasses Grill, and Vintner's Cellar. Mediocre "all you can eat." Of course, I didn't expect much... it was all the town had to offer. My husband and I still laugh about my asking our server if they could turn down the AC a bit (the dining room was empty and the place was about 60 degrees.) She replied that they couldn't because when the expected crowd of patrons finally arrived, the staff was going to be so busy that they would be "sweatin' like dawgs!" MMMM...appetizing! I've worked in many full-service restaurants that kept the temperature comfortable for their customers, and the waitresses had to do a lot more than fill tea and water glasses and remove plates from the tables of diners who served themselves...it makes for a good story though!

Cindy: Ernie's Restaurant serves excellent food, is kept very clean, and the staff is very friendly. My personal favoirite is their buffet. Ernie's Restaurant is an excellent place to eat. You won't be disappointed.

I moved to the area just over a year ago and was pleased to find such a pleasant restaurant as Ernie's. I especially enjoyed the buffet several visits and it was excellent. Ernie's is everything it promises to be. I take well traveled out-of-towners there and they enjoy it also.
