Great food,a little pricey though.I could have easily eaten twice what they served me for lunch (and I am a small person)Other than that the atmosphere is great and very nicely decorated place. I would take friends there for a special occasion or a treat for me and my husband.

The Duchess of Bedford is one of my favorite places to have lunch and always take out-of-town visitors there and they agree. The prices are higher than Wendy's, but you also get what you pay for. Their chicken soup is to die for....as well as their breads, cakes, cookies.....no wonder I have gained weight. I highly recommend The Duchess without reservation and hope you will give it a try...you'll love it!!!

Lovely little cafe: Great idea to have a bakery cafe in a lovely home. Very pretty place. Bakery goods are pretty pedestrian, but good. Counter person said they make their own puff pastry, but it did not taste freshly made. Price for lunch is a little high. The Irish Creme mini bundt cake is delicious! The quiche was ok. What? No cupcakes??
