User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsWell, apparently I'm the only one who doesn't melt at even the single sight of the bakery. Personally, I find the cake to be fairly dry, the location a pity, and specializing barely mediocre. However, I do agree that the icing is delicious.
In my case, I think when you come from a larger city with the finest bakeries in the world down to this is rather disappointing. It's okay but too simple and only satisfying for a small town.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best bakery - EVER. My dad drove 3 hours from our home in Ohio, and back, to get my wedding cake, which could NOT come from any other place. Their frosting is somehow different, and better, than any I've ever had. Try the black raspberry filling with buttercream if you get the chance!
Specialty items are wonderful as well. The "Hot Dog" is lucious, the pecan swirl cookies ethereal, and my favorite, the "cream horn" is a true sugar rush.
Order your next cake, or stop in and enjoy whatever they have in the display cases - you will not be disappointed. Prices are well within the range of what I've paid for lesser quality baked goods. But, any price differential between your average Kroger or Wal-Mart stuff, and the handmade offerings at Spring Hill pastry Shop is well worth it!-

The best purchased a wedding cake and it was perfect, looked just like the picture and was a big hit at the wedding
