This is my favourite mexican restaurant in the Martinsburg area, and my family and my fiance and his family agree. There may be a wait sometimes, but it's well worth it.

I am a 65 y.o. grandmother who recently took my daughter and her family to this restaurant, where we have all been clients for years. The four of us ate a meal and had a drink. We were in a hurry because we had to be somewhere at a certain time. I paid the bill without looking at it with my debit card. The next morning I looked at the bill and realized that it was exhorbitant for the meal we enjoyed. Upon further investigation, I saw that we were charged for one full meal and an a la carte item we did not have, plus my meal had been charged off as individual items rather than a meal. I paid over $20 more for food we did not order and did not eat! That evening we stopped in to speak to a manager, and encountered a curly-haired young man with a huge smile at the cash register. I explained the situation, and that's when the fun began! This smiling young man got really smart-mouthed with me, told me if I wanted my money back, he wanted his food back; told me to "chill", and told me that he didn't know me and he believed the charges on the ticket rather than what I told him had happened! He shrugged a number of times and said "what do you want me to do? I can't do anything!" I explained to him that I wanted to be reimbursed for the items we did not receive, and asked him if the reputation of his business mattered to him at all. He finally opened the cash register and gave me a twenty dollar bill (rather than figuring out what he really owed me, which was a couple of dollars more than that), mocking me with his smile and body language. My daughter and I were shocked and amazed at his unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful attitude and words. We have always enjoyed and recommended this restaurant, but this story is going to be told far and wide. When I told him I would no longer recommend his restaurant, he said "tell whoever you want! I don't care!" Why would a local family-owned and operated business permit an employee to treat even ONE customer the way this young man treated me? It still seems more like a nightmare than a real experience!

Nasty all around. the staff and the food. Will never go back. The attitude of the servers and the hostedd is awful
