    Not good! I had advanced reservations & was seated on time. I,however,waited forever to get the main course served. There were three empty tables in the dining area....no over flow problem. I then waited 22 minutes for desert to be served.I amused myself by counting the number of insects that flew by in the dinning room. I paid and left withiout having the last course. Service was bad.
    The salad was small and had a hit of dressing on it...it was a bit of gloss on a piece of lettuce. Not impressed! The beef was very tough and the the vegtable was cold inside. The plate was room temp. Hot foods hot etc. They did not come near my expections in the least. The sauce on the meat was there to add flovor to the meat. The meat itself was almost tasteless and tough.
    I do not recommend this restaurant and will never go back again.
    Listen people..."all that glitters is not gold....."

    DUCK!!!!!!: Absolutely the best! I had the Sauteed Calamari (not fried, but served on Bruchetta) that was wonderful, the Bibb Lettuce salad (a bit too peppery for me, but still good.), the Crisp Roasted Duck that was absolutely to die for, and the Fudge Brownie with Banana Ice Cream - yum! Highly recommended!!!!!! I live in SW Virginia and would drive the 3.5 hours to eat at this place again - that's how good it was.

    Try the porch!: Lot 12 is a beautiful restaurant, but a bit pricey for making it your default restaurant. However, we love to go for a small meal, and we get a few beers and an appetizer. The appetizers can make a meal all by themselves if you're not starving. So go get one of their fancy beers, an appetizer, and sit out on the porch. Great service!
