User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAvalon is a great place! We enjoy the hot tubs and sauna in the winter and the pools and trails in the summer. Bob Smith does a great job of running Avalon and the people are friendly. It should be noted that Avalon is the only clothing optional resort in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, so that does not say a whole lot. None the less, it is a great place and we enjoy going and we highly recommend it. The food btw, is very good and quite resonable as are the lodging facilities.

Avalon is one of the most beautiful clothing optional resort in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. The food is excellent and the people who come to Avalon are the most friendliest people I have ever met! For good friends, good fun and relaxation this is the place to be!!

Yes, I agree that Avalon Resort near Paw Paw, WV is an undiscovered jewel for the clothing optional crowd in the mid-Atlantic region of the USA.
I agree, Avalon is a undiscovered jewel. My wife and I are lucky to only live 40 minutes away, so we visit often. Good food, good friends and a great place to relax and do nothing.
Yes, virts1, you are lucky you live only 40 minutes away. We live in Oklahoma, and can't get to Avalon very often. We plan to retire there.
