Just went there last night! This place has a great small town atmosphere. Very Friendly sevice . . try the crab dip! Talented musicians last night . .two acoustic line-ups! Two words . .Folky and Quaint. Tip: The management has posted signs that you must remain quiet during performances. Establishment serves beer, wine, and menu specials of the day.
Hip atmosphere; reminds me of places I used to frequent when I lived in Southern CA. Food is ok and consistent; service is friendly, but slow. They now sell alcohol (wine & beer; decent selection).
Miss it, moved away: We have been going to the Blue Moon for many years. I can remember when you could bring in your own bottle of wine or beer...but life is nothing but full of changes. Laid back, informal good food. My personal fave is the real sliced turkey on a crossiant, brocolli florettes, dill sauce and swiss cheese, The whole thing is heated, until the cheese is runny, yumm!
The Portobella mushroom sandwich is also very nice.
