About:Restored Victorian mansion that was once the home of Senator Davis and was named after his favorite daughter, Grace. All the rooms are furnished with lovely antiques or reproduction furnishings; the larger rooms have marble-lined bathrooms. Also featured is The Mingo Room Restaurant which offers regional, American, and continental cuisine in an original red-oak intimate dining setting.

    Fine local restaurant in a beautiful old senator's home. Gracious environment and very good food. Its good restauranteur students working there so sometimes the service is a bit, well, unusual. But, one of my local favorites. I'd go here every week if I could.

    Graceland was closed when I went to Davis & Elkins College in 1978-1980 and Halliehurst was being used as offices for student services. I read about the restorations of both mansions in the alumni magazine. This year, I was in WV for the 4th of July and took the family for the Sunday Brunch. The atmosphere was elegant, and the food was excellent. Children 6 & under were free, and a senior discount for mom.

    Elvis would be proud of this former mansion!!A must see in Elkins!!
