Country Club Bakery

Country Club Bakery is a fixture in the Fairmont, WV suburbs. They bake other goods; however, their claim to fame is undoubtedly the famous Pepporoni Roll. These are freshly baked rolls with strips of pepporoni baked right into them. The rolls are only half of the treat, though. The bakery also sells bottled peppers, both sweet and hot. The peppers taste absolutely delicious, and do not resemble anything that you would imagine. Even if you are not a "pepper person," try it once. You might surprise yourself!

The rolls are sold in varying package sizes (if my memory serves me correctly from California), keep in the refrigerator, and are best reheated by wrapping in foil and placing in a preheated oven.

Do yourself a favor, and drive over to Country Club Bakery for some pepperoni rolls with your choice of peppers. Beware, though -- only try them if you are able to make a habit of it...because you will.

I was born and raised in Fairmont until my family relocated in 1976. I think of the pepperoni rolls at the Country Club Bakery often. Too bad the don't deliver to Florida!
