I live near the "italian" epi-center of WV--Clarksburg-- and Mario's certainly matches, or tops any of the top restaurants out here. When visiting my mother in Romney, we always try to stop at Mario's for an authentic italian meal. The tortellini alfredo is divine!!! The prices are very reasonable and ingredients are fresh. It has a very casual italian diner atmosphere. Great place to take a family.
Mario's marinara sauce is worth driving 100 miles for -- we come from 40 miles away just to eat at this warm, inviting and delicious Italian restaurant. The folks who run it are super-friendly and obviously know how to cook real food. I haven't had everything on the menu (yet) but I really like their Minestrone soup and spinach pies. Also a very kid-friendly place.
