    My husband and I started out going for a short drive and ended up on an over 4 hour drive! We came across Thompson's and thought we should stop for the night and luckily they had pet rooms open. What a nice clean motel! We both got a great nights sleep! It was so quiet! My husband ordered burgers and fries for takeout at the restaurant and the food was great! We're heading back tomorrow for another relaxing stay!

    Wow! -What a change: We went to the restaurant expecting the old basic hamburger and french fries that we had ordered so many times in the past. Something has changed. The menu includes so many more offerings than it used to. Not only that, but we were pleased with the taste of everything also. The dining room still needs an overhaul, but the service was good. The change was definitely welcome.

    Fast Service, Awesome food: We didn't stay at the hotel but we ate at the restaurant and it was outstanding. The service was fast with friendly attitudes, area was spacious for eating and the scenery in the area was outstanding. Highly recommended!
