In 1982, Shores Cleaners was purchased by the Edward's. The name was changed to Shores Fine Dry Cleaning to reflect the Edwards's vision and Shores reputation for cleaning specialty garments and wedding gowns. Customers used to drive from Winston-Salem and Greensboro to experience the difference. This encouraged us to open locations in these cities so we could serve our discriminating clientele more conveniently. Though we have experienced quite a bit of growth since our days as a small family cleaner in downtown High Point, Shores Fine Dry Cleaning continues to provide individual attention to each garment, unsurpassed customer service, and the best name in fabricare in the Triad.
