User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is the best Chinese food that I have had outside of Chinatown in Washington DC. The restaurant is spotless clean and the decorations are not tacky like other local Chinese restaurants. They have the best Egg-Drop Soup I have ever tasted. They have great prices and the selections can be ordered as 1, 2, or 3 combos so that everyone can taste something different. This is a 5 star Restaurant!!! A+++

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsChinese Favorite: Golden China is the best Chinese food from Durham to Burlington. On my way home from work, I could stop anywhere along I-85 but Golden China is my choice. Their food is excellent. The service is impecible. They do remember you from one time to the next just as the other reviewer said. They also remember what we normally order as a family. We go there maybe once a month.
The only thing I have had on their menu that I didnt care for was their Hot and Sour soup. I found it to be rather bland compared to other Chinese restaurants. I stick with their Wonton Soup.

Tom, Spot on review! This is wonderful Chinese cuisine, and I agree that the Egg-Drop Soup is second to none. John, my husband Jon's favorite waiter, is a delight! Our favorite restaurant (in our area of the state, Pitt County - Greenville) is Ming Dynasty (wonderful food, sensual ambience.) My husband moved from the Alamance County area when we married (December 2007), and he often spoke of his favorite restaurant, Golden China in Graham. Imagine our surprise, when we were planning our wedding dinner party at Ming Dynasty, and Mary Yuen (the owner of Ming Dynasty) shared with us that she and her husband had jointly owned Golden China! The Shrimp in Lobster Sauce at Golden China is also the very best that I have ever tasted. Even better than Ming Dynasty (oooh, I hope Mary doesn't read this...) :]
