I know everyone loves the hushpuppies and I do too, But the chili cheese fries are my favorite. A hotdog all the way with white slaw and some chili cheese fries is a little slice of heaven.

I visit LST alot!
Love the hushpuppies, best ANYWHERE
The thing I like about this place is not only the fact that they have friendly waitresses, but most all of the food is homemade.
They have the best BBQ, Cheeseburgers, BBQ Chicken, and Baked Spaghetti EVER. As a matter of fact, Ive never been there that if something went wrong it wasnt fixed right then.
They catered my wedding rehearsal and the food was to die for. And very reasonably priced too.

Not Like It Used To Be: I've been going here for years and I've seen the quality of the food steadily decline. It isn't horrible, but it isn't as good as it used to be. The tea is still great, and they have good hamburger steaks and bbq. The turkey and ham sandwiches are good too. Just stay away from the almost-raw fries and over-done hushpuppies. The waitresses... well, Bridget is great (and no, I'm not a relative!) I miss Casey and Mindy. They got their jobs done and were very friendly and funny without being perched on your lap during your whole meal. I go here with my dad and daughter a lot and one waitress in particular will not speak to me but will not stop talking to my dad - the whole time we eat! I go there to spend time with my dad, not with her! I used to suggest going there but now I only go if that's where he wants to go.
