User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe love it here.: If you like being treated well and getting a decent meal fast, you won't be disappointed here. Favorite dishes are Carnitas Botana, Tacos de carne asada, Fajitas with chicken, shrimp, steak, and chorizo, as well as their breakfast dishes, like Huevos con chorizo. Ask for the Tomatillo salsa for the real thing and Mexican sodas called "Jarritos" that come in all sorts of interesting flavors, like pineapple, tamarind, 'jamaica,' and lemon.

Real Mexican Food - NOT: If you think Mexican food is about a pile of goo on a plate with cheese - go here. The salsa for one is ketchup with hot sauce added to it. Their Chile Relleno is a butchered version of a classic Mexican dish that is simply NOT an example of the real thing. Save your money, save your time. If you want food real fast go here. if you want real Mexican, go elsewhere!

This is not a fair review, I have eaten at La Cocina many times and it is always good and no its not goo on a plate with cheese
