User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI have no idea why everyone thinks this restaurant is so great. I love Vito's in Southern Pines, and La Dolce Vita in Sanford is great for really good pizza. I just recently tried Elizabeth's again since it has moved into the new building, and it was actually worse than the last time I went several years ago. I ordered pizza, and my slices didn't appear to have any cheese at all. My toppings were also uncooked and had a bitter taste. It was a total disappointment.

I truly don't understand all of the other reviews. Everytime I go to this place the bread is greasy, the pizza looks like the crust is cooked, and cold topping are put on top. The new building is nice, and the pasta is better than average, but on a scale of 1-10, I give it a 3. If you like greasy food and aren't healthy in your eating habits, this place is for you. Vito's in SP is much better.

This is the best italian food in a large area. Better than Vito's in SP. You have great specialities, pizza, salads, plus beer and wine. So what if the waitress might be a little, er, local. C/C and debit cards. Beer and wine. Convenient, right off US 1. We drive up from Rockingham once a week just to eat here.
