Country Park has two fishing lakes, a leash-free dog park, hiking trails, playgrounds, paddle boats, and picnic areas, all of which have disabled access. Besides being a great spot for a family gathering or a date, the park also hosts charity walks and runs throughout the year for various organizations. Since vehicles are not allowed in the park on weekdays, holidays, and after 4:15pm on weekdays, a tram service provides transportation to the park during those times. Visitors will find the Guilford County Veterans' Memorial inside the park. The park is open daily from 8am until dusk. Less
