Company Information: The oldest and most favorite authentic Mexican restaurant in Greensboro, this restaurant serves the best Mexican food and margaritas in town and was the recipient of the Golden Fork Award by Triad Style Magazine. They are open daily for lunch and dinner and outdoor dining is available.

   The seasoning on the food wasn't good. My chicken taste like it had been soaking in water over night.

   Good Mexican food, sometimes even better: As the name implies, this place serves authentic Mexican food prepared and served by people who know Mexican food - most of the staff speaks far better Spanish than English. I have been told that the owners are an extended family who emigrated here from Mexico to start these restaurants, and judging from the food they serve I can believe it's true. Having eaten lunch here 5 to 10 times a year for almost 10 years, I have always found the food to be at least acceptable. On occasion, when the kitchen is having a good day, the food can be truly outstanding. My favorite item is their salsa - I'm pretty sure they make it fresh daily, and again it can be inconsistent, but it's always at least pretty good and sometimes it can be the best I've ever had anywhere. In nice weather I recommend their outdoor seating, their patio has wrought iron tables and chairs surrounded by decorated high walls so that you can forget you are still in the city.
