    We have used Johns for years and have always received excellent service. Their technicians are friendly, professional and knowledgable. One winter they came out during an ice storm to repair our hvac unit that was damaged by a frozen branch. Not many companies would do that. We always recommend Johns to our friends and neighbors.

    This company charges an $80 service fee which they do not roll into the cost if you have them do the work. They also could not gauge the price of the product they were to install. Overall I was not very impressed and decided to go with a different company that was not trying to recoup their TV advertising money.

    First of all if you are a maintaince or contract customer the service charge is 59.95, and almost all service companies are now charging a service charge, due to the high cost of fuel, and getting the men to the job. If the company deducts that from the job, they usually are just adding it back in to the cost of the job, as a hidden fee, you are going to pay it one way or another, what you are concerned with is the total cost, and the quality of the work done.
