In my opinion this is the best Italian food in Greensboro and it's a shame not too many people know about it. Every time we've gone the service has been decent if not great. I love the bread, and the sauces are thick and hearty - you can tell that nothing you get comes from a bag. This definitely isn't an Olive Garden or anything, so if you're expecting that kind of typical, bland, Italian food, then you should probably not come here.

My family and I visited Vito's based upon online reviews. Regretfully, we were disappointed. The service was slow for an early Saturday evening. Only two other tables were occupied. We had to go find the wait person to refill our beverages after waiting 20 with empty glasses on the table. Entrees took 45 minutes to get to the table after ordering. No special meal items, pasta and sauce! The food quality was mediocre. The sauces lacked character. I have bought better stuff in a jar or can at the grocery store. The prices were okay, but high when compared to the value of the experience.

I hope that they will improve the service and food, or Golden Gate will have one more vacant store front!
