We visited this restaurant for the first time, driving from Greensboro to Cary for the opportunity to eat here. Arrived around 11:30 for lunch and my wife and I were the first customers of the day. A young gentleman (the owner?) greeted us and waited on us for the entire meal. He quickly brought freshly baked pide(their spelling) bread, and it was excellent.
As this was our first time here and we wanted to try a number of different items, we ordered the Bosphorus Meze Platter, which contained Hummus, Baba Gounush, Ezme, Tabouli, Eggplant Salad, and Stuffed Grapeleaves, Cacik (a mild cucumber dip), and more fresh bread. All were very good, with the Hummus, Baba Gounush, and Grapeleaves especially good. This could easily feed 4 people, but we did our best to do it justice, and were successful, I think. This $6.
We also ordered the Greek Salad, which seemed a smidge pricey at $5, but was plenty for 3 or 4 people, and contained 2 more Stuffed Grapeleaves. Did I mention that they were very good? The salad was excellent with plenty of olives, diced cucumber, tomatoes, and very good feta cheese in a mild olive oil based dressing.
We chose the Mixed Grill Kebabs for our entrée. The kebabs were cubed lamb and chicken, Kofta (ground lamb and beef), sliced lamb, and beef liver (which I liked, but it is rich). It did not contain a Adana Kebab (a spicy hot mixture of ground lamb and beef) as advertised, but all were excellent, except the chicken which was dry for my taste – seemed to be breast meat which this often happens to in my opinion. And there was more dip and bread.Loved the attentive service as well. All in all a very good experience – will return soon with other foodies. Do be warned - they do not currently have a liquor license, but you can bring your own beer and wine, we were told.

Outstanding! I lived in Turkey for three years and the Bosphorus is by far the most authentic Turkish restaraunt I've eaten at in the US. The food is very good and so is the service and prices. I can't think of anything negative to say only that they should expand! Please visit, you won't be disappointed!

Great place, simple and confortable, the food is amazing and the staff is friendly and very accomodating. Once you eat here you will keep on coming back. Their lamb is fantastic! If you like turkisch food then this is definately the place to go...and if you never had it you may want to venture out and try it, you will be pleasantly surprised!
