User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI am surprised by the negative review as well. I went into this Toreros for the first time during my lunch break. I called to find it because I was lost and had a limited amount of time and the woman that answered the phone was VERY helpful.
When I arrived at the restaurant to place my take out order I was greeted immediatley even during the lunch rush. The gentleman at the door took my order and let me know it would be ready in 10 minutes. While I waited in line to pay, the cashier asked everyone paying how they enjoyed everything. I heard everything from "great as usual!!", "we always enjoy ourselves", "the service couldn't have been better". I was very impressed. My order was ready in 5 minutes not 10 and I got back to work from the restaurant with time to spare.
I'm not saying that maybe someone didn't have a bad experience at this restaurant but with the experience I had today that is very hard to beleive.-

I have always enjoyed the food and had good service. I am surprised by the bad service comments.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsMy wife and I recently visited this restaurant on October 16th, 2008, and believe me, we will NEVER return.
I couldn't believe the bad service we received. The person that greeted us was extremely rude to my wife from the very beginning. Not sure if he was having a bad day or what, but it was highly unnecessary!
Come to find out, it was the owners son!!! How can the owners son be rude to the customer?
In business, the best advertisement is word of mouth. Believe me when I state that Toreros Mexican Restaurant in Cary, NC located off of Kildare Farm Rd will get the worst advertisement ever!
Stay away from this restaurant. If the owners son is giving bad service, I can only imagine what everyone else will give.
