My co-workers and I just went to this place for lunch and we had the worst Pad Thai ever! The chicken was dry and flavorless, and the beef was similar, tough and dry. The noodles were undercooked and hard in the middle and the sauce was cheap trash. The dishes contained no real vegatables only cheap bean spouts and shaved carrots. Their miso soup was ok - but very bland and sadly their ginger salad was the best thing that was served to us. Their raw sushi looked old and had been slightly grilled. Their wasabi wasn't freshly made and was from a paste or powder. We are definitely never going back!
This is our favorite for the atmosphere and one of the (3) best in the Raleigh/Cary/Apex area for excellent quality of fish. They are a bona fide sushi house but have Thai entees as well. 5 Star!
MMMMmmmmmm... what else is there to say: I absolutely enjoyed myself. The staff was great, the vibe was perfect and the food and drinks were mindblowingly delicous.
It would be a great place for a romantic dinner but I went solo and suprisingly I received the same amount of attention as those of a bigger party. The staff was polite and on point.
It is comfortable enough to sit back and enjoy your food without becoming ordinary and generic. The music, the decor and layout was the perfect fusion of japanese, urban and american style giving it the perfect vibe.
I ordered the sampler boat....Don't let the word sampler fool you, it was alot of food. Everything I tried just lavished my tastebuds with marvelous flavors and textures.
Although, I live many hours away I find myself looking for a reason to go back. I live much close enough to Atlanta to get good sushi but could see myself driving out of my way to go back to Wasabi for more.
