nc best food: The food, the people, the wait staff was the best in North Carolina that I have ever had, The food was cooked to perfection and the deserts were to die for, I can not wait to get back to Wake Forest and Burkenstock for Great Food and Wait staff.

Best, most unique food, in the Triangle!!: I have not in 5 years ever eaten in a better place than Burkenstocks. Jeff, the owner, gets the freshest, most intriguing seafood items weekly and dresses them up with unique sauces, glazes, and sides. Ever had shrimp and grits? These aren't your grandmothers grits under a pile of perfectly done jumbo shrimp. Scallops the size of hubcaps dot the appetizer selections. If it is meat you like try his pan seared duck, or big selection of steaks done with a Jack Daniels glaze. Even the salads are unique with home made dressings fresh fruits and nuts. I will bring family and friends here on a monthly basis as every time I do, they are impressed.

Fantastic Food: If you want something other than the standard fare then go to Burkenstock's. It is just a wonderful place to dine.
