User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHey. This is sweetwilly from the band Land of Dust. Zakk's Coffeehouse is a very specail place to me. I have been Going there since the place frist opened. My former band Mass Confusion was the frist metal band to play there. If you ever wanted to know what CBGB's was like in New York city then go to Zakk's Coffeehouse in Murfreesboro, NC. This place has it's own personality. You can not find a better place for realy good local and some national act live music. John Rice works his tail off to bring the best new bands out there. Plus if you ever wanted to get up close and personal with many of the band members than you can. Alot of smaller bands that have played there have been side projects from bigger bands. You will not find a more friendlier place for bar tenders in your life. Plus they know you by name. I have also taken my children there a few times myself and they have come away with free picks, pictures signed, and CD's of the bands that have played there. The music it loud and I just love the feel of this small club. Plus it does not cost you a arm and a leg to get in. So if you are looking for the new CBGB's. Then Zakk's is the place to be.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsZakk's Coffeehouse: Mz Rita appears to have a lack of class herself. Who has the right to tell other's what genre of music is played for what particular age group. Mz Rita has stated that adults in their 20's have no taste nor class. Zakk's Coffeehouse is an incredible place for people of all ages. I have seen people of all ages in there having a great time!You can have a great cup of coffee or a cold beer and listen to some very cool live music. I am 42 years old and I believe anyone who enjoys live music will have a great time while having a beverage of there choice. Huh - CHOICE - perhaps Mzzzz. Rita couldn't decide on a good expresso or a cold beer. ZAKK'S COFFEEHOUSE IS RECOMMENDED! I think Zakk's offers us something rather unique. :)

I love zakks: Zakks is a wonderful place if your young or old and like the heavier side of music. It has the best coffee and expresso. the owners are wonderful people and its enjoyable to go there for good music and fun. the beer aint bad either.havent been since before the facelift but that can only make it better
