We sent her our retainer two months ago and have yet to get anything done from her. No return calls, no status,and this is only for a speeding ticket. I am furious. We even checked her out ahead of time but clearly she is too busy to return calls. Totally unprofessional.

Handles herself well in court but...: Lisa is an excellent attorney. She handles herself well in court, knows how to handle the opposition, and handles her clients well during examination. She can prepare clients well and puts them at ease. My biggest criticism about Lisa is her lack of accessibility. She is frequently out of town, doesn't use email, has no cell phone, and is her own paralegal. Her office is disorganized from the outside, she takes a while to get action from the other side, and takes a while to get back to her clients. She lacks a killer instinct and isn't aggressive. She is very passive. She is very concerned about her client's pocketbook which is very compassionate, however, in my case I wanted to get my case resolved and it began to take forever and it was not to my satisfaction. I would recommend Lisa to anyone if they need a good trial attorney or if they need a lawyer who is good as a mediator in a divorce that is relatively amicable. In a divorce proceeding that requires teeth, I believe Lisa is a little too passive.

Thank God for Lisa: Lisa was a Godsend. She was referred to me by a coworker from my job in an emergency situation. She took my case and explained every aspect of the law. She kept me calm when I became agitated, she dealt with my very contentious divorce calmly, and she became like one of my family. She had my confidence from the start and I would recommend her to any friend of mine who has any kind of run-in with the law or has any problem with a spouse. She knows her craft very well.

She has a huge interest in horses and may not be at your beck and call, she is the only person in her office (no paralegal), however, she gets the job done. She gets the job done well and there this no pressure. If you go into court, she is calm, easy, and she knows how to attack a witness. Lisa is a wonderful attorney. She has the typical retainer fee and draw down rate so don't be surprised when she asks for that check at the outset. The number shouldn't be a surprise. You won't find a better lawyer for the cost. She is worth every cent. She gets all 5 stars from me. If there were more, she'd get them. My family invited her to Thanksgiving dinner, that's how greatful we were to her. She declined due to the amount of work she had. That is true dedication.
