We live in Goldsboro and drive all the way to Durham just to eat at Sitar. The food is excellent and the buffet is always fresh.
Sitar ROCKS!!! I have eaten Indian food all over the world and Sitar is one of my top 5 places anywhere. Not only is the food fantastic, but the staff is amazingly friendly (and attractive). A great menu selection, or try the fab buffet. I'm vegetarian and they always have a great selection of veggie dishes in addition to the ones with meat.
They recently moved and the new building is beautiful, and easier to get to (not far from the old location). We have lots of friends and family that come to visit and everyone raves about Sitar after we take them there.
Highly recommend this place!!! A tad pricier than some, but truly worth it - you get what you pay for.
Great Indian restaurant. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Great service. The rice pudding is to die for.
