Gotta stop here. I've been coming for the last five years and it's only getting better and better. Not sure what others are talking about when they say the quality is going down... I don't see it that. Best prime rib on the ICW period.
I'll have to concur w/ that last reviewer. Up until last night this place was always one of my favorite places to eat, but I hadn't been in a few months. Last night the chips came out w/out the flavoring, and the waitress wanted to argue with me that that's how they were supposed to be prepared. She finally relented but just brought back the same basket, now cold, with the flavoring dumped on it. Then the meal came out- they've raised the prices but shrunk the portions, the shrimp was overcooked, the fish was dripping in butter, and both of our plates were cold. I suppose the food is actually now just "average" but the lackluster service brought the whole experience down another notch. I'm not sure what happened, but we won't be back to try to figure it out.
A local's favorite for seafood and their trademark home made potato chips, (yum) However, have noted declining quality in last couple of years. Cold food, recipes changed, and not for the better. Erratic quality, but pleasant atmosphere at the dock on the ICW.

The family and I have always enjoyed the Coinjock Marina. The FREE chips have always been a treat with the seasoning and homemade ranch dressing. Portions have always been more than we can eat. To go boxes are always asked for. We support our local owners of every restaurant and Coinjock Marina is by far the best. I often get the broiled platter and have never had a problem with excessive butter. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience however we all have bad days and maybe it was just a fluke.
