User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsNot sure what happened to my original review, but I'll gladly write another. In June, my fiancee and I took a trip to the OBX. We were staying on Roanoke island, and took a day trip to Ocracoke. Near supper time, we asked a local where there was a good place to eat, since we didn't want to wait until after the long trek back to Roanoke to eat. He recommended the Back Porch, and was immediately (and enthusiastically) agreed with by another person (and fellow tourist) who had eaten there the day before. Everything about the place was wonderful. The setting, the service, the food, all incredible. It was so good, we changed plans for one of our last two vacation days and went back to Ocracoke just to eat at the Back Porch.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAwesome: Had the special on 7-13-07, Tuna w/ strawberry butter. Probably the best $25 plate of food I've ever had. Top notch place, best on the island in my oppinion.
