User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI love Sagebrush in Statesville NC. I enjoy the food and the people. The managers are great. The waiters and waitresses are hard workers who are always pleasant to their customers. If something is wrong such as cold food, tell them , they are glad to fix that problem. Pansy will always fix the problem of cold potatoes quickly. She just will not take the stray cat of ours called Torti. She is an animal lover just like us. Sagebrush is great. Sagebrush is the best steakhouse in Statesville. Kirk has hired the best group of staff to take care of his customers. Kirk just needs for Sagebrush to build a new Sagebrush in Statesville. It would be the #1 restaurant then. To everyone there, keep up the good work!! Thanks again!!

This is the worst restaurant ever. We were told we were getting bread...never got it. The beans were cold. The chicken was just okay. I got the rib and chicken combo and the ribs were tough and dry. A knife and fork could not get the meat off the bone. There was no use in picking them up to gnaw them either. Hey, they were like sagebrush. Now we know where they got their name.
The visit before was disappointing as well. We got there at 9:30 and they were no longer using the char grill for the steaks...they used the flat grill instead.
Should have learned the first time!!!!!! One star because you can't post a review without at least one.
Zero stars is my rating!!!!! Worse than awful!!!!!!!! -

I had the brisket and it was fantabulous. Way to go Sagebrush. That waitress, Lisa, was so sweet and her use of southern hospitality was second to none (even though she overused the word "Honey").
