    food is always outstanding, service is exemplary. don't hesitate to spend your time and money at this establishment Gus will make you welcome and be sure you are well taken care of

    We moved here from New York which has some of the finest Italian restaurants. We were told about the Gondola. I love it. Service and food are excellent. Wonderful atmoshere brought about by the exceptional owner and staff. Excellent!

    The food is amazing. The prices are very very reasonable. The staff is very friendly and personable. And the menu has a WIDE variety of dishes. All of them excellent.

    My job has me traveling constantly, and periodically it brings me back to Bessemer "City" NC. I'll tell you something: if I'm in Bessemer for two weeks, I'm eating at Gondola for lunch and dinner all 14 days.

    A diamond in the rough. Of all places in the world to find one of the best Italian restaurants... Wow.
