User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI grew up just a mile down the road from Black's. Used to be a treat to go get a minced meat BBQ sandwich there. Long time ago but on the rare occasion that I go back to Gastonia I make a special trip to Black's. 2 Minced meat BBQ sandwiches and a Cherry Lemon Sun Drop. Few things remain the same and I find it somewhat of a comfort to know there are still some little pieces of Americana left. Black's, with their curb hops and sandwiches just like they used to be, is one of those leftover treasures of times gone by. Not to mention the best BBQ sandwich I have ever eaten.

Black's BBQ is the best of the best. Located in Gastonia, NC on HYW 321. Come in and have a few Hamburgers with slaw and a fry or onion rings with a large Ice tea or a cherry lemon sundrop. You will be hooked, you will be addicted, you may gain some weight, but grab you another burger on the run and go across the street to hh beam and walk the track,and loose some of those good calories and fat......I am leaving word to leave me a large hamburger with SLAW in my casket when I die.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI WOULD LIVE THERE IF I COULD: Aight heres the deal with Blacks BBQ. i live like less than 2 min away from there. U get awesome from for great prices, on clear cool weather i could sit out side and smell the food. the owners are sweet the help is awesome. u get what u want fast and reasonable. u couldnt ask for better service from anywhere around here. I tell anyone and everyone if u aint ate there ur missing out big time. there the best bbq in town. gotta try it at least. and u wont go back to that other bbq.
