Great food atleast. I used to work here so i still go in and order a lot of the time when i'm home. They have great food but some of the cooks aren't the best. I suggest trying to eat at where the manager cooks because he always puts on a good show. Its a bit expensive in the evenings but you get a lot of food for the most part. I'd suggest going in for lunch tho, same amount of food really and half the price. Great food, they serve alcohol, you can call in orders, and even make reservations for dates or large parties. Just be patient with the staff, they work long hours and its a hard job entertaining while cooking for many people with many different orders at one time.
This is the best around! Portion size is like you would expect from a good Japanese Restaurant. Seafood is fresh and the Shrimp sauce is the best in the state. I know I have tried them all
Absolutely HORRIBLE experience last night! My 55th birthday and my wife took me there for supper. I ordered the filet mignon and she got the smaller shrimp, since she does not like the huge ones. Our salad was fine but The soup was way too salty for us. The "chef" came out and I knew from the jump he was eihter bad or a trainee. He dropped his utensils several times and actually picked one up off the FLOOR wiped it off and continued to use it. I made sure he changed it before starting to cook though! The chef got confused cooking the fried rice due to one customer having ordered extra rice since he did not want vegetables, which resulted in the rice being over cooked to the point of being crunchy dry. The large shrimp appetizer was very good-the high point of the evening. My wife's shrimp was finished before my steak was started so I sampled hers at her request and it was BAD! It tasted like the shrimp was rotten or on the verge of it. She notified the cook and he acted like he did not know what she was saying. I ordered my filet medium rare, but when he put it on my plate it was competely gray in the center, that means well done. There was not a sign of pink to be found where it should have been red. I also complained and he acted confused then told me I was incorrect that it was medium rare after looking at his order slip. I told him I was NOT satisfied and needed something done. In ANY decent restaurant the meals would have been comped, but at SHOGUNS they took $10.00 off the check when we were not able to eat our entrees. I complained that that was insufficient compensation and the lady managing basically said too bad, that was all she was going to do. We were charged $35.00 for a salad and appetizer of 2 shrimp since the rest of the food was NOT edible. NEVER AGAIN!!! Beware, if the food is not to your liking you will receive NO relief from the management. I have eaten there before and had good food, BUT the attitude of the management at Shogun will result in my NEVER eating there again and telling everyone I know that it is not worth trying. The lady manager would not come to the table to look at the food, nor would she talk directly to us, deferring to her waitress, chef and cashier. Beware-this restaurant is simply NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE!!!

I still stand by my review and will NEVER eat at that hellhole again!!! It is NOT worthy of consideration as long as McDonalds is still in business, and I have not eaten at Mc D's in many a year! The staff was HORRIBLY rude and showed NO consideration for the poor quality of the food.
